Meet Attorney Gary David Goodin | Las Vegas Green Card Lawyer
Las Vegas immigration attorney Gary David Goodin is himself an immigrant. He is a native of the Caribbean island of Jamaica. He has moved to and lived in a foreign country twice – first, the United Kingdom and later the United States. It is his immigrant experience that sparked his passion for immigration law. He has a firm belief that the United States is the greatest immigration destination in the world for those who are driven to pursue economic opportunity and a better or different life for themselves and their families. However without legal status the American dream can become a nightmare. This is why he has dedicated himself to immigration and nationality law.
He first attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida from 2006-2007 and graduated from Arizona Summit Law School (formerly Phoenix School of Law) in Phoenix Arizona in 2009. Mr. Goodin distinguished himself while in law school as a skillful debater and by making Law Review. After receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in May 2009, Gary Goodin was admitted by the Supreme Court of Florida to the Florida Bar on October 1, 2009. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
As a licensed immigration attorney he has assisted many clients to obtain green cards and legal status in the United States. He has worked on regular and complex immigration cases involving false claim to U.S. citizenship, termination of conditional resident status, green card divorce and criminal matters (domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, theft, DUI, and marijuana possession). His legal experience is varied and includes time spent as a property law intern with Community Legal Services in Mesa, Arizona, and as a volunteer in the area of family and immigration law with The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association in Orlando, Florida where he represented persons in divorce and immigration matters.
His immigrant experience motivated him to seek a better way to counsel and represent clients and to practice law that has a positive impact on clients’ long term futures. With this in mind he founded Goodin Law P.A. in 2010 to provide clients with the personalized attention that was not offered by law firms with a traditional way of thinking. Goodin Law P.A. is a law practice dedicated to achieving results for it clients and keeping legal services inexpensive.
As a lawyer, it is Mr. Goodin’s mission to provide the best representation to intended immigrants and their US sponsors in a variety of immigration law matters.
