Meet Attorney Gary David Goodin | Las Vegas Green Card Lawyer
A native of Jamaica, Attorney Gary David Goodin has moved to and lived in a foreign country twice – first, the United Kingdom and later his adopted home the United States. It is his immigrant experience that sparked his interest in immigration law. He believes that the United States is a land of opportunity for immigrants who are driven to pursue economic and social mobility and freedom for themselves and their families.
He first attended Florida Coastal School of Law in 2006-2007 and graduated from Phoenix School of Law, in Phoenix Arizona in 2009. Mr. Goodin distinguished himself while in law school as a skillful debater and by earning a place on Phoenix Law Review. After receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in May 2009, Gary Goodin went on to gain admission to The Florida Bar on October 1, 2009. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
As a licensed immigration attorney he has assisted many clients to obtain green cards and legal status in the United States. He has worked on routine and complex immigration cases involving false claim to U.S. citizenship, termination of conditional resident status, green card divorce and criminal matters (Domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, DUI, and marijuana possession). His legal experience is varied and includes time spent as a property law intern with Community Legal Services in Mesa, Arizona, and as a volunteer in the area of family and immigration law with The Legal Aid Society of Orange County Bar Association in Orlando, Florida where he represented persons in divorce and immigration matters.
His immigrant experience motivated him to seek a better way to counsel and represent clients and to practice law that has a positive impact on clients’ long term futures. With this in mind he founded Goodin Law P.A. to provide clients with the personalized attention that was not offered by law firms with a traditional mindset.
