The first lawyer immigration consultation
Your first consultation is a 45-minute legal strategy session where you can discuss your case with an experienced US immigration attorney, get answers your questions, receive some preliminary legal advice and learn about the best path to do what you want.
The consultation fee is $100. Payment is due before the consultation begins. We accept all major credit or debit cards. You can also pay the fee in cash. If you hire us at the consultation and pay the agreed first deposit for immigration attorneys fees, we will credit the consultation fee towards the fee for your case. N.B.: No free consultations.
Please read all the terms for the first lawyer immigration consultation before booking an appointment. If you have any questions about these terms, please let us know before the meeting. By participating in a consultation, you acknowledge, understand, and accept these terms.
Immigration Lawyer Consultation Fee:
Our immigration attorney consultation fee is $100 for up to 45 minutes with our attorney. The attorney consultation fee goes towards our flat-rate immigration attorney fees if you hire us at the first consultation and we accept your case. Payment is due before the consultation begins. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
N.B.: If you hire us at the consultation and pay the first deposit, we will waive the consultation fee so that you will get a free consultation if you hire us at the first meeting.
You have no duty to hire us and; we are under no obligation to represent you.
No Attorney-Client Relationship:
A consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship. You have not retained our legal services merely by participating in a consultation. You become a client only when we accept your case, a representative of our firm has a written agreement with you, and you have paid the agreed retainer.
The consultation is strictly confidential:
To gather the relevant information to check your case, the attorney may ask you questions.Some questions may be of a sensitive nature. The quality of the advice you receive will be directly affected by the truthfulness with which you answer the attorney’s questions.Please note that in responding to these questions the attorney-client privilege is in effect (even if you do not become a client), meaning anything you tell the attorney will not, and cannot be repeated to anyone without your permission.
After the Consultation:
If you have not yet signed a legal services agreement with us, and you have more legal questions after the first consultation, you should book a new consultation. We cannot answer legal questions over the telephone or e-mail unless it is during a consultation or you have a case with us.

What documents should I bring/have?
Please bring/have any immigration related documents. Remember it is better to bring too many than too little!

Do you I need an appointment for a consultations?
Yes. Consultations are by appointment only. To make sure that our attorney gives enough time to your immigration matter we require an appointment for each consultation. We may not be able to see you without an appointment.
What can I expect at the attorney immigration consultation?
We strive to make every consultation an informative experience where you can make informed decisions about your case that will save you time and money. The first consultation can last up to 45 minutes.
At the consultation we first discuss your facts and what you want to do. We will take the time to listen to your needs and concerns. We will then explain the law, discuss your immigration options, and expect any legal challenges based on your facts.
If you want to hire the law firm, and we accept your case we will discuss possible strategies to resolve any challenges and create a winning case. You will get a clear understanding of the process and what to expect.
We will discuss our fees, your payment options and the separate government filing fees. We will also discuss the role of your attorney and your responsibilities as a client.
Who provides the immigration consultation?
Las Vegas Immigration lawyer Gary D. Goodin, provides the in-person or phone consultations and handles cases personally to give you the attention and high quality representation you deserve.
Do you offer payment options?
Our immigration law office offers clients reasonable fees and flexible payment options. In most cases we take a portion of the fee up front to immediately begin work on your case and the rest of the fee before we file your case. Other plans are available in certain cases. Our legal fees do not include government filing fees or other costs such as translations, credential evaluation services, expert witness fees, or other costs such as courier services, where appropriate.
Do you have a notary to witness the signing of documents?
We have a notary public on site to witness the signing of documents for clients in a timely and professional way.
